We see depictions of him in movies, paintings, and stained-glass windows. We hear about him from the pulpit and the stage. We read about him in the Gospels. As his disciples, we follow him; we revere him; we glorify him. But how well do we really know him?

Yeshua Matters is the story of a pastor who discovers that Jesus Christ was not just a Jewish person, but a practicing Jew, a teacher of Judaism—a rabbi, known during his earthly ministry as Rabbi Yeshua of Nazareth.

Messianic cantor, musician, and songwriter Troy Mitchell calls the world to awaken from slumber and hail the coming redemption. Mitchell takes listeners on a spiritual journey “singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs” (Colossians 3:16) inspired from the psalms of David, the biblical prophets, the New Testament, and synagogue liturgy. This soulful wake-up call features English lyrics ornamented with Hebrew and layered with Mitchell’s uniquely crafted original melodies. Shake the slumber from your sleeping soul.

In Jewish tradition the sukkah is beautified with a picture of clouds and the statement, “In remembrance of the clouds of glory.” This causes us to remember that the sukkah itself is a reminder of the cloud of the Shekinah that sheltered the children of Israel during their travels in the wilderness. To keep our eyes looking for the return of our Messiah, we have included on this photo the verse, “Behold, he is coming with the clouds” (Revelation 1:7).
