Two Roads, 12-21 Leader's Guide
A Study for Teens
This study contains questions on the first six chapters of the Didache as well as a seventh section that focuses on applying the principles of the Didache to ethical dilemmas. This creates a seven-session course. The sessions can be done in succession such as at a conference or retreat or once a week such as in a youth group or Shabbat class.
The Two Roads Leader's Guide contains everything in the student workbook in addition to instructions for leading the Two Roads study plus an answer key.
The Didache is a book intended to be studied by brand new believers in Yeshua. It teaches them to walk on a path of discipleship to Messiah. It focuses not on theology or what one must believe but on practical day-to-day living. The first six chapters of the Didache are referred to as the Two Ways and make up the section of the Didache that focuses on fulfilling the commandment to love your fellow as yourself.
For these reasons, we thought that a study on the first six chapters of the Didache would be perfect for teens. They are right at the stage of development where they are learning lifelong habits and behaviors. Inter-person problems are just starting to get more complicated, and the way of the world begins calling to them even louder. The material the Didache presents can help them through these times and establish in them a Torah ethic and way of life.
